Learn more about MarComm

As a Graphic Design Assistant in the Marketing and Communications Office at St. Olaf College, I collaborate closely with staff members to develop creative visual solutions that support the college’s marketing goals across both digital and print platforms. I am responsible for designing a variety of materials, such as social media graphics, posters, brochures, and presentations, ensuring that all content aligns with the college’s brand identity and messaging standards.

Stickers & Pins

Designed to capture specific moments around St. Olaf College and students’ experiences, these stickers were designed for students to carry a cherished part of their campus life around with them. Accompanying the sticker series is an edition of the class of 2028 enamel pins and a button-style pin representing alumni who participated in the St. Olaf Nursing program.

Print

Printed materials make up the largest portion of deliverables within MarComm. These designs focus on bold and clear fonts, the use of distinct heavy-weight shapes, and accentuated shadows and highlights. The result is a coherent, organized design that communicates information through thoughtfully selected imagery and strategic presentation.

Infographics

Infographics play a pivotal role in sharing our campus achievements with future Oles. When designing our alumni map, I made sure to prioritize clarity and readability, so viewers can visually interpret any values they are presented with. As a whole, it is essential to keep this design concise, engaging, and easy to understand.
